Synopsis:

Samuel: Man of God is a sweeping biblical drama with 12 original songs that follows the life of Samuel—the last judge of Israel and the prophet who would anoint its first king. Born in answer to his mother Hannah’s desperate prayer, Samuel is given back to God and raised in the tabernacle under the priest Eli. As corruption grows among Israel’s leaders and God’s voice grows quiet, Samuel learns to listen, obey, and speak truth—even when it brings sorrow.

Throughout the story, the original songs are woven naturally into the narrative, giving voice to prayer, worship, inner conflict, and communal longing. From Hannah’s heartfelt cry before the Lord, to the people’s restless demand for a king, the music deepens emotional moments and helps carry the audience through generations of faith, failure, and hope.

Spanning Samuel’s childhood, his calling as a prophet, and the rise and fall of King Saul, the story explores timeless themes of obedience, leadership, humility, and what happens when God’s people trade trust for control. Reverent, emotionally grounded, and deeply rooted in Scripture, Samuel: Man of God offers a compelling portrait of faithfulness in a season of spiritual decline—and invites audiences to consider what it means to listen for God’s voice and remain faithful when obedience is costly.
