Synopsis: I AM traces the story of redemption through some of the most well-known stories of the Old Testament. Through powerful songs, moving narration, and dramatic vignettes, audiences will witness the faithful endurance of God’s people as they waited for the promised Deliverer and their unspeakable joy as the promise was realized in the person of Jesus Christ. 

This musical has been designed to be a flexible resource for your drama program. Perform the entire script as written from beginning to end and trace God’s plan of redemption throughout some of the most famous stories of the Old Testament. Alternatively, you can perform each section separately and have five mini-musicals: one from Moses, another from Ruth, etc. Or you could even pull out a specific scene and song combination for a short dramatic vignette - great for powerful moments in the midst of a concert or even a church service.
